Director Mahesh Narayanan, known for C U Soon, has commenced work on his ambitious Malayalam film featuring superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty. Tentatively titled MMMN, the movie boasts an ensemble cast including Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Nayanthara, among others.




Pooja Ceremony in Sri Lanka

The production kicked off with a pooja and switch-on ceremony in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Wednesday. Both Mohanlal and Mammootty were present, along with key cast and crew members. The event saw Mohanlal lighting the ceremonial lamp, with co-producers Subash Manuel and CR Salim managing the switch-on and the first clap, respectively.



Anto Joseph, under his banner Anto Joseph Film Company, is bankrolling the project, with additional backing from Aashirvad Cinemas, represented by Antony Perumbavoor, who was also in attendance.




Star-Studded Cast

In addition to Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Kunchacko Boban, the film includes performances by Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Prakash Belawadi, Revathi, Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, Renji Panicker, Rajiv Menon, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, and Sanal Aman.




Production Details

Cinematography is helmed by Manush Nandan, known for Dunki and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Production design is led by Joseph Nellikal, with Ranjith Ambadi and Dhanya Balakrishnan overseeing makeup and costumes.

The film will be shot over 150 days across various locations, including Sri Lanka, London, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kochi.
