 Qatar Airways Cargo and MASkargo Forge Strategic Partnership to Enhance Global Networks

Qatar Airways Cargo has entered into a strategic partnership with MASkargo, the cargo division of Malaysia Aviation Group, to expand and strengthen global cargo networks.

Since the partnership began on October 1, 2024, the collaboration has successfully transported 2,400 tonnes of cargo, including perishables and pharmaceuticals.

Increased Capacity and Connectivity

Under the agreement:

• Qatar Airways operates twice-weekly Boeing 777 flights from Doha to Kuala Lumpur, contributing an additional 200 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity.
• MASkargo’s Airbus A330 freighters connect Kuala Lumpur with Sydney and Melbourne, offering 75 tonnes of capacity and efficient eight-hour connections.

This partnership extends MASkargo’s reach to Europe, Africa, and the GCC, while Qatar Airways gains greater access to Australasia and Asia. Additionally, the collaboration supports Malaysia’s export industry by opening up more destinations for global trade.
