The Weeknd has unveiled plans for a special one-night-only concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, set to take place on January 25. This performance celebrates the release of his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, which drops just a day earlier via XO and Republic Records.
According to a press release, the event will feature groundbreaking production, with a stage design that will span the entire stadium floor.
The Canadian-Ethiopian artist, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has been teasing material from Hurry Up Tomorrow during his global stadium tour this fall. Fans have already experienced the album’s first singles — “Dancing in the Flames,” “Timeless” (featuring Playboi Carti), and “São Paulo” (featuring Anitta) — at select events. These included a one-night-only performance at Estádio Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, in September and a showcase at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena during the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
In October, The Weeknd continued the momentum with performances at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia, offering fans a preview of his newest work.
